The foundation of smart craps play. Bet on the shooter to win with one of the lowest house edges in the casino.

How it works: Place your bet on the Pass Line before the come-out roll. If the shooter rolls 7 or 11, you win. If they roll 2, 3, or 12 (craps), you lose. Any other number becomes 'the point' - the shooter must roll that number again before rolling a 7 to win.

Example: Bet $10 on Pass Line → Shooter rolls 8 (point) → Shooter rolls 8 again → You win $10

Best for: Beginners and anyone wanting consistent, low-risk play with a 1.41% house edge.

The best bet in the casino. Back your Pass Line bet with free odds for zero house edge on the odds portion.

How it works: After a point is established, place an additional 'odds' bet behind your Pass Line bet. This bet pays true odds (no house edge!) - 2:1 for points of 4 or 10, 3:2 for 5 or 9, and 6:5 for 6 or 8. Most casinos allow 3x to 10x your original bet.

Example: Pass Line $10 + 3x Odds $30 on point of 6 → Win = $10 + $36 = $46 total payout

Best for: Smart players who want to maximize value. The combined house edge drops to under 0.5% with full odds.

Treat every roll like a come-out roll. Build multiple winning opportunities throughout the game.

How it works: After a point is established, place a Come bet. It works exactly like a Pass Line bet but starts fresh. When your Come bet travels to a number, back it with odds. Experienced players often have 2-3 Come bets working simultaneously.

Example: Come bet moves to 9, back with odds → Another Come bet moves to 5 → Multiple ways to win each roll

Best for: Players who want more action and multiple chances to win on every roll.

Cover all numbers except 7. Win on every roll... until that 7 shows up.

How it works: After the point is established, place bets on 5, 6, 8, and the Field. Every number except 7 gives you a win. The Field pays even money on most numbers, 2:1 on 2 and 12. Place bets pay 7:6 on 6/8 and 7:5 on 5.

Example: $5 Field + $6 each on 5, 6, 8 = $23 total. Any number except 7 wins something!

Best for: Players who enjoy frequent wins and don't mind a higher overall house edge.

How it works: Start with a Pass Line bet plus full odds. Then make two Come bets, each with full odds. Once you have three points working (one Pass, two Comes), stop making new bets and let your numbers hit. Collect winnings and rebuild as points resolve.
